Through evidence-informed physical therapy, collaborative care, and movement-based support, we will help you build resilience, restore function, and thrive in your everyday life.

The Vision

We envision a future where every person feels empowered to live without limitation, confident in their body, and supported by healthcare that listens, educates, and prioritizes their unique needs. By redefining the standard of physical therapy, we strive to build healthier individuals, stronger families, and more resilient communities.

Hello!

I’m Dr. Morgan Borkovec, founder and owner of Natural Resilience Physical Therapy and Women’s Wellness.

Despite being Chicago-born and raised, I have always been a lover of the mountains and pretty much all things outdoors, so it’s probably no surprise that I slowly made my way west—and then north—to land in Alaska. I completed my undergraduate studies at Saint Louis University and, after some time off for travel, went on to earn my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Utah.

I began my career here in Anchorage at a local, privately owned outpatient physical therapy clinic, where I learned, grew, and developed my skills as a clinician. Along the way, I unexpectedly found my way into the world of pelvic health—and quickly fell in love with the specialty.

The more I learned, the more I realized just how underserved pelvic health can be and, more broadly, how deep the gaps in women’s health care run. I was astounded to learn how much goes unsaid, unacknowledged, and unknown about a woman’s body, function, and health throughout her lifetime. Too often, concerns are brushed off or “normalized” as simply part of pregnancy, postpartum, aging, or another stage of life, without the education, support, or treatment people deserve.

As I continued practicing, I also saw how the structure of traditional healthcare settings can sometimes limit the time, flexibility, and individualized care that patients need. I began to envision something different: a practice where I could take the time to truly listen, educate, collaborate, and provide care based on the individual—not simply on a diagnosis or what a traditional model allows.

That vision ultimately became Natural Resilience.

I continued my education with advanced coursework in women’s health, including urinary and bladder dysfunction, pelvic pain, and endometriosis. I became especially passionate about pregnancy and postpartum care, which led me to become a certified Pre- and Postnatal Fitness Specialist. While pregnancy and postpartum care have become particular areas of focus for me, I love working with women throughout every stage of life and helping them better understand their bodies at every stage.

My goal is simple: to help people feel informed, empowered, and confident in their bodies—and to create a space where their concerns are heard, their questions are welcomed, and they don’t have to settle for “that’s just normal.”

Outside The Clinic

Outside of the clinic, I love being active and outdoors whenever possible. If you ask me what my plans are for almost any given summer weekend, the answer is sure to include, “Hoping to get out on my bike!”

I love exploring the local trails here in Anchorage, as well as getting out for longer bikepacking adventures with friends. In the winter, I keep busy fat biking, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, backcountry touring, and snowmachining.

Admittedly, I’m a bit of a fair-weather adventurer, so when Mother Nature gives me some inside time, I also love reading, cooking and baking, and catching up with friends and family.

I’m so glad you’re here, and I look forward to helping you build a stronger relationship with your body—wherever you are in your journey.

5 Reasons to Choose Natural Resilience for Your Physical Therapy Needs

  1. You deserve to be at the center of your healthcare

Women have a natural tendency to put everyone else’s needs ahead of their own. When it comes to your health and well-being, your needs and desires should rise above all else. At Natural Resilience you’ll receive true one-on-one care exclusively with a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in Pelvic Health. Dr. Morgan will collaborate with you at every session to achieve the goals that are meaningful to you.

  2. A whole-body approach is the standard

A whole-body approach is especially important when it comes to pelvic health—our bodies are much more connected than they might seem. Dr. Morgan will take the time to determine how all joints, tissues, and body systems are functioning and what underlying issues may be contributing to your symptoms, rather than just addressing a single area or diagnosis.

  3. Your sessions will adapt to your needs

Your needs can change from one visit to the next. Each session includes time to check in, discuss how you're progressing, and adjust your plan when needed. Your care should reflect your body, your goals, and your life. The goal is for you to leave every appointment feeling better and more empowered, whatever that might mean to you that particular day.

  4. Less documentation burden means more attention on you

With fewer documentation and administrative demands, Dr. Morgan is able to spend more time during your session listening, observing, correcting, and simply enjoying her time with you.

  5. You deserve transparency

You deserve to understand your options and know what to expect. Dr. Morgan prioritizes clinical honesty and open communication, answers your questions, and works with you to make informed decisions about your treatment and financial responsibilities.
